Here's a tasty recipe for banana bread that you'll love
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (if desired).
Instructions
- Preheat the cooker to 350°F (175°C) and oil a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, use a fork to mash the mature bananas until they are smooth.
- Add the melted butter and granulated sugar to the mashed bananas and mix them well.
- Then, beat in the eggs, one at a time, making sure each egg is fully integrated. Next, stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl l, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, taking turns with the sour cream. Start and finish with the dry components.
- If desired, gently fold in the chopped nuts.
- Run the batter into the ready loaf pan, making sure it is evenly spread.
- Bake in the preheated cooker for approximately 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle reaches release pure.
- Once it's fully baked, remove the banana bread from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for approximately 10 minutes. Then, move it to a wireframe to cool thoroughly before cutting.
